I recommend starting with spot trading using a small amount (5-10 million VND) to first understand market mechanics. Copy trading may sound "passive," but in reality, it requires you to understand what the master is doing to know when to stop. People with no trading background often find themselves in a "don't know when to stop" situation — leading to larger losses than if they traded with a small amount themselves.

Does Bybit block Vietnamese users?

Bybit officially does not support Vietnam (per its Terms of Service) but still allows account creation and KYC using Vietnamese CCCD as of May 2026. The legal situation may change after the Vietnamese pilot exchange becomes operational. I recommend monitoring updates on international exchange regulations and be ready to migrate to the pilot exchange if required.

I'm copying 5 masters. Can I review them once a month?

I recommend weekly reviews (Sunday, spending 30-60 minutes). Monthly is too infrequent — a master could blow up in a week, and you won't be able to cut in time. Daily is too frequent — you'll get stressed and make emotional decisions. Once a week is a good balanced frequency.

When is the performance fee paid, and can I dispute it?

The performance fee is calculated and charged each time a master closes a profitable trade. Bybit automatically deducts it from your Copy Margin. You cannot dispute it, as it's part of the agreement when you click "Follow." However, if a master closes a trade by mistake (accidental close), I recommend contacting Bybit support — in some cases, they may refund with proof.

Can I copy multiple masters at the same time with the same capital?

Yes. Your total copy quota = Total Copy Margin / Min Copy Amount per master. For example: 1,000 USDT Copy Margin, copying 5 masters at 200 USDT each. Bybit does not limit the number of masters you can follow simultaneously — but you must have sufficient Copy Margin.

If a master gets banned or their account is deleted, are my open trades affected?

When a master is banned/deleted, the open trades remain in your account. You must manually close those trades (via the "My Copies" tab → click the trade → Close). Performance fees are not charged on PnL after the master is banned. I recommend checking Bybit's specific policy as it may change.
